George III Silver Oval-Form Tea Caddy - George III Silver Oval-Form Tea Caddy John Denzilow, London 1782. With urn finial. Approx. 11 t.o. Bright cut decorated with Neoclassical festoons and floral garlands centering two sets of initials, between fluted and ribbon entwined borders, urn finial and hinged lid. Provenance: Kinghams Auctioneers, Moreton-in-Marsh, UK, December 3, 2020, lot 168 5 1/2 x 5 in. (14 x 12.7 cm.) Condition: Generally good condition, no key, the base of the caddy on one end has some dings that can just about be seen from above. Caddy sits soundly on glass top. Dings can be observed from below. Hinged lid sits soundly. Some stress to the hinge or just the pin showing.  Thank you for your interest in our upcoming sale.
