A CHINESE YELLOW-GROUND GREEN-ENAMELLED 'DRAGON' BOWL, QING DYNASTY (1644–1911) - The deep rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim, supported on a cylindrical foot, the body decoration in green enamles on a yellow ground, depicting two dragons striding amidst flames in pursuit of flaming pearls in between scrolling clouds and above a band of foaming waves. The bottom bears a Chinese Jiajing six character mark on a white ground. Diameter: 15.2 cm Height: 7.5 cm
