A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE CHARGER, KANGXI PERIOD (1661-1722) - A Chinese barbed rim porcelain charger, decorated in cobalt blue with a central roundel enclosing a large peony blossoming tree growing beside ornamental rock, the side with alternated flower blossoming branches. The bottom with a Chinese Kangxi six character mark and of the period Diameter 36 cm.
