A LARGE CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'DRAGON' BOWL, MING DYNASTY OR LATER - A large Chinese porcelain bowl with deep, rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim, supported on a cylindrical foot. The interior is decorated with a central roundel enclosing a leaping three-clawed dragon chasing a flaming pearl amidst clouds, beneath a band of sea waves and a classic floral scroll. The exterior features two stylized three-clawed dragons amidst clouds, above a petal-lappet border. Height: 13.5 cm Diameter: 30 cm
