A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE DISH, WANLI PERIOD (1572-1620) - A Chinese porcelain dish, finely decorated to the centre with a star-shaped panel enclosing a bird perched on a rock below a butterfly in flight amongst flowers, all surrounded by eight roundels enclosing alternating precious objects and flower sprigs separated by brocade designs. Diameter 20 cm. PROVENANCE Private collection, the Netherlands
