A PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE DISHES, 19TH CENTURY - A pair of Chinese porcelain dishes, each decorated with scenes depict daily life in ancient China. The left side shows an indoor area where a figure is seated, likely involved in weaving inside a pavilion , while outside, a group of workers are cultivating the land, with Chinese calligraphy. The exterior stylized in iron-red with four Fu bats and a Chinese Daoguang seal mark. Diameter: 14 cm.
