A PAIR OF CHINESE TURQUOISE-GROUND FAMILLE-ROSE CANDLESTICKS, 19TH-20TH CENTURY - A pair of Chinese porcelain candlesticks, each raised on a bell-shaped base and set with a wide drip-pan connected to a smaller upper tray by a tall tapering column. Each enamelled on a turquoise-ground with multi-coloured large lotus blooms borne on dense scrolling leafy stems, dispersed at the bell shaped base with a band of ruyi-heads, under a key fret chain at the rim. The bottom with a four Chinese Yongzheng character mark. Height: 20 cm
