A LARGE CHINESE EMBROIDERED YELLOW-GROUND SILK PANEL, 18TH CENTURY - Comprising five sections superbly and colourfully embroidered in satin stitch with a continuous scene of a central cross vajra phurba supported on a large sun flower head, flanked on both sides with Immortals, wheel of life, warrior and a ribboned vase on an elephant and horse, all supported on sun flower heads issuing from a dense design of floral scrolls. 227 by 81 cm.
