A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE BOTTLE VASE, 19TH-20TH CENTURY - The globular body of the vase is delicately painted to simulate 'heaping and piling', with a band of composite foliate scroll above a border of petal lappets and a band of classic scroll at the spreading foot, and all below two rows of molded bow-string bands dividing pendant ruyi lappets and a further thin band of composite floral scrolls at the shoulder, the tall waisted neck with a thin band of key-pattern below upright plantain leaf lappets that rise up the neck to an everted rim with a band of breaking waves above further pendant ruyi lappets.
