A CHINESE TEACUP AND SAUCER, EARLY 18TH CENTURY - Teacup and saucer on footrings. Decorated in underglaze blue, the saucer with a bird of prey on rocky ground in the centre. Above and below a flower basket on a stand with spreading flowering branches flanked by blossoming trees. The cup has the same bird on the bottom inside. Along the rims of cup and saucer a zig-zag border. Height of cup 4 cm. Diameter of saucer 11.8 cm.
