A FOUR-RINGED SILVER JAMBIYA, OMAN OR YEMEN EARLY 20TH CENTURY - A curving, double-edged blade with a pronounced medial ridge and a wooden hilt, partly clad in silver. The scabbard, tapering in form, is beautifully decorated with panels of silver chased with floral and leaf scrolls. The mid-section is raised and features four rings for attaching it to a belt.
