A KASHAN POTTERY JUG, PERSIA, EARLY 13TH CENTURY - Rising from slightly spreading conical foot through rounded bulbous body to pronounced collar, the vertical mouth with slightly flaring rim and a short loop handle, decorated in cobalt-blue and black on a white ground with a broad band of flower heads flanked by foliate motifs, above a band of swimming fish. Height: 12.5 cm.
