A CHINESE BLUE-GROUND SLIP DECORATED BOWL, 17TH CENTURY - The bowl with flared sides and everted rim, supported on a small foot, covered on the exterior with an even sacrificial-blue glaze and applied in white with peony, chrysanthemum, lotus and cherry blossoming branches. The interior of the bowl covered with a clear blue glaze and applied in white with two facing Fu bats. The inner foot is white glazed and inscribed with Chinese four character mark. Height: 7.5 cm. Diameter: 22.5 cm.
