A CHINESE GREEN GLAZED SLENDER VASE, LIAO DYNASTY (916-1125) - A Chinese green-glazed pottery vase of tall slender shape, a band of double grooves encircling the base. The shoulders and mid-neck flaring to a lipped rim, covered under a jade-green glaze falling irregularly to mid-body to expose the granular buff ware. Height: 32 cm. PROVENANCE Acquired in 1991 from Schoeni, Hongkong
