A ROMAN MOULDED PURPLE GLASS HEAD FLASK, CIRCA 3RD CENTURY AD - A Roman purple glass head flask, mold-blown in two parts of heads. Flask with body in form of two human heads back to back, with short tapering cylindrical neck and everted rim, with long hair indicated by rows of globule-like curls with a flat base. Height 10.5 cm. Provenance: from a private Dutch collection.
