A GROUP OF BYZANTINE PENDANT CROSSES, CIRCA 8TH-12TH CENTURY AD - A group of four Byzantine pendant crosses. Three encolpion crosses (one complete) and one plain cross of a single element with the Virgin orans and the four evangelists in small roundels in each arm of the cross. Height 10 cm. - 9 cm. - 8 cm. - 7 cm. CONDITION Fair condition. PROVENANCE Private German collection acquired on the EU market in the 2000s.
