A KHORASAN BRONZE WEIGHT FIGURINE IN THE FORM OF A LION, PERSIA, 12TH CENTURY - Seated with head turned to left, the tail terminating in a hinge knuckle, engraved with two inscription-filled cartouches to the body, a cartouche containing scrolling foliate vines to the back, and a mane to the neck, the interstices with triangle motifs containing circles. Length 17.5 cm. Height 9.5 cm.
