AN OTTOMAN MIQUELET LOCK LONG GUN, NORTH AFRICA, 19TH CENTURY - An Ottoman mother-of-pearl inlaid wooden and steel gun sighted barrel retained by four metal embossed barrel-bands, engraved lock, characteristic engraved iron-plated stock heightened with mother-of-pearl panel. Elaborate guns of this type would have been reserved for hunting and target shooting. Length: 142 cm.
