A BRONZE MAGIC BOWL, 13TH–14TH CENTURY - Of shallow rounded form, the well engraved with an intertwining ten-pointed star, the cavetto with a pattern of calligraphic and figurative panels depicting a spider, a snake, a quadruped and two stylised human forms, the rim with two bands of inscriptions, the exterior with a narrow calligraphic frieze over alternating medallions and trapezoids containing inscriptions, the base with a calligraphic roundel. 13 by 3.5 cm.
