Exceptional pair of antique portiere room-divider curtains crafted from a heavy, rich damask or brocade textile. It features an elegant deep burgundy/maroon hue adorned with a raised, repetitive Renaissance-style geometric medallion motif. This premium lot specifically includes its period-correct original passementerie tiebacks, featuring heavy braided cords ending in matching large fine-fringe tassels. The fabric remains structurally strong and sound, showing a beautiful authentic vintage patina with light and even aging that enhances its classical appeal. (Metal rod not included).
