Vintage Industrial Red Painted Manual Barrel Pump - This is a vintage hand-operated barrel or drum pump of the type used for dispensing petroleum products such as motor oil or kerosene. The pump is constructed of heavy cast iron and steel piping. It features a central cylindrical pump body, a side-mounted manual crank lever, and a vertical intake pipe designed to reach the bottom of a standard drum. The discharge assembly consists of a curved return pipe leading to a spout with an integrated container hook. The exterior retains traces of red paint, though much has been lost to oxidation. No maker marks or patent dates are clearly legible on the surface. Height: approximately 48 to 60 inches.
