The case is designed with an arched pediment and a stepped base, featuring incised gilt scrollwork and stylized floral motifs on the front panel. The body is flanked by fluted pilasters. The circular dial is set within a brass bezel and protected by a glass cover, displaying a black face with Roman numerals and two winding arbors for the eight-day mechanical movement.
