A Pair of Vintage Automotive Pop-Out Rear Quarter Windows Attributed to Austin America - This lot features a pair of vintage automotive pop-out side windows, attributed to the Austin America or other ADO16 platform vehicles from the late 1960s to early 1970s. These components were designed as rear quarter glass. Each unit consists of a clear tempered safety glass pane set within a perimeter metal frame. The windows include a manual swing-out latching mechanism secured directly to the glass via a circular mounting plate. One of the units retains its original mounting hinges. Faint etched safety glass markings are present in the corners of the panes, although they are weathered and not clearly legible.
