Vintage Austin America Front End Assembly and Salvage Components - This lot consists of a vintage front end assembly from an Austin America, a variant of the British Motor Corporation ADO16 platform produced for the North American market between 1968 and 1972. The assembly includes a multi-slat horizontal chrome-plated radiator grille, a full-width chrome-plated front bumper with two vertical overriders, and a portion of the front steel body panel finished in a dark red paint. The grille is fitted with a rectangular silver-tone badge reading AUSTIN AMERICA in black lettering and features a central circular chrome-trimmed emblem with a translucent amber insert. Integrated lighting includes one sealed-beam headlight assembly and one indicator light housing. Also included is a detached, boxed chrome-plated exterior light fixture, likely a license plate lamp, with clear lens and wiring leads.
