A Collection of Woodworking and Carving Tools, Vintage Tins, and a Large Woven Wood Splint Basket - This lot consists of an assortment of woodworking and carving tools, various storage containers, and a large basket. Included is a blue painted steel portable toolbox with a latch and a leather tool sheath. A red and yellow cylindrical metal tobacco tin is marked Douwe Egberts, Amphora, Pipe Tobacco, Extra Mild Cavendish and contains several hand tools including screwdrivers with red and yellow acetate handles and files. A small red tin is marked Altoids The Original Celebrated Peppermints. Two clear plastic lidded organizers are present, one of which is embossed with the brand name Plano and contains a variety of small hardware including screws and fasteners. There are also two clear plastic round storage containers holding additional hand tools. A large, square, hand-woven wood splint basket with a tall fixed handle, resembling the style of makers such as Longaberger, contains several partially carved wooden bird figurines, specialized carving tools, and a blue-covered booklet titled Hamilton's Guide Yellowstone National Park. A small olive drab camouflage canvas pouch is also included in the collection.
