6-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Blue Crown Mark, no major chips noticed - Attributed to the Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Company of Roseville, Ohio, this six-gallon stoneware utility crock features a cylindrical form with a wide, molded rim. The exterior is finished in a light cream-colored Bristol-type glaze, while the interior features a dark brown Albany-type slip glaze. The front of the vessel is decorated with a cobalt blue stencil of a five-pointed crown containing the numeral 6, signifying its capacity. The unglazed base bears the letters U.S.A. handwritten in a dark medium. No impressed manufacturer marks are present. Capacity: 6 Gallons.
