Virginia House Colonial Revival Style Two-Piece Wood Hutch, 60” long, 68” tall, dovetailed drawers - This two-piece hutch, also known as a Welsh dresser, is designed in the Colonial Revival style. It is constructed from a light-toned solid wood, possibly maple or pine, with a warm honey-colored finish. The upper unit is an open-shelved cupboard featuring a decorative scalloped cornice and three shelves, each integrated with plate grooves for vertical dish display. The base cabinet provides a versatile storage arrangement including a central stack of three drawers, a single-door cupboard on the left, and a double-door cupboard on the right. A wide, shallow drawer spans the full width of the base at the bottom. The piece is equipped with surface-mounted black metal H-style hinges and large, turned wooden knobs. The overall design and hardware are characteristic of the Young Republic collection by the Tell City Chair Company, although no maker marks were observed
