A Collection of American Utility Pottery and Stoneware including a small Robinson Ransbottom Crock - This group of American utility pottery and stoneware includes a variety of forms and glazes. The primary piece is a cylindrical stoneware crock by the Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Company of Roseville, Ohio. The crock features a cream-colored glaze accented by two horizontal cobalt blue bands. The underside of the crock bears a rectangular stamped mark reading R. R. P. Co., Roseville, O., U. S. A., #303-E. Also included in the collection is a set of three graduated nesting mixing bowls in a cream glaze featuring a wide-ribbed or paneled exterior design. The assortment further contains several blue-glazed utility wares, including one large shallow serving bowl, two medium nested bowls with exposed stoneware rims, and a single blue-glazed plate or saucer. Smaller items in the group include a cobalt blue ribbed ramekin, a dark brown ribbed stoneware ramekin, and a white ceramic dipping bowl.
