A Group of Vintage American Ceramic Decorative and Utility Wares - This collection consists of several pieces of mid-20th-century American earthenware and stoneware. Included is a large figural strawberry canister with a separate lid molded as green leaves, incised with the mark USA on the base. A flared white bowl features a molded basketweave or lattice pattern on the exterior and the handwritten number 495 on the underside. A bulbous blue-glazed planter displays a raised repeating foliate pattern and is incised with the mold number 1266. The group also contains a light green or turquoise-glazed planter with a molded floral design and a pair of cylindrical white-glazed stoneware storage crocks characterized by two raised bands near the rims. A white-glazed ribbed florist's planter is incised with the marks O USA and FP341, which identifies it as part of the Floraline series produced by Nelson McCoy Pottery.
