A Collection of Antique and Vintage Stoneware Kitchenware Items - This group of utilitarian kitchenware includes several stoneware and glass objects. The assortment features a large ceramic dough bowl with a matte buff finish and a pressed milk glass insert modeled as a pair of cupped hands, a style attributed to 19th-century American makers. Also present is a wall-mounting salt box with a molded basketweave exterior, finished in a cobalt blue glaze with a white-glazed interior. A small cylindrical stoneware crock with a recessed lid is coated in a dark brown slip glaze. The collection is completed by a shallow stoneware baking dish with a dark brown interior glaze and an accompanying mottled tan salt-glazed lid. No maker marks or capacity stamps are visible on any of the pieces.
