A Collection of Vintage Wooden Folk Art Carvings and Rough Mineral Specimens with Wicker Baskets - This lot consists of a group of hand-carved wooden folk art figures and turned wooden objects, alongside an assortment of rough mineral specimens. The wooden items are housed in a cardboard tray and include various figures such as a man in traditional clothing, a turtle, and several small quadrupeds. Two small turned wood vessels feature hand-painted floral decorations in white and yellow. The mineral collection is divided into two groupings. One basket contains several small rough specimens with green coloration characteristic of copper-based minerals such as malachite or chrysocolla on matrix. A separate wire basket contains a larger variety of rough stones, including reddish-brown jasper, basalt, and other unpolished igneous or metamorphic rocks. The collection is presented in three containers: a large natural wicker basket with a fixed handle, a smaller grey-stained wicker basket, and a white-coated wire basket with folding handles. An off-white electrical power cord is also included at the bottom of the larger basket.
