Antique G.I. Sellers and Sons Co. Oak Hoosier Style Kitchen Cabinet - This is an antique oak kitchen cabinet manufactured by G.I. Sellers and Sons Co. of Elwood, Indiana. The unit is constructed in a multi-sectional Hoosier style from oak with a clear finish. The upper section features two cabinet doors. The right interior compartment houses an integrated white-painted metal flour sifter with a bottom-mounted manual crank handle. The interior of the left door features two original printed paper labels: a Sellers Time Table for Cooking and a Sellers Daily Reminder with a table of weights and measures. Below the upper cabinets is a horizontal tambour roll-top door providing additional storage. The middle section contains a pull-out white enamel work surface featuring a black-and-white mottled border. The lower section includes storage cabinets and drawers. One lower door interior is fitted with a wire rack, and the main base compartment contains a pull-out wooden sliding tray. The cabinet is fitted with metal latches and hinges, some featuring an S-brand mark. An oval metal maker plaque is mounted on the front rail above the tambour door.
