Vintage National Nylon 48-Star United States National Flag 2x3 Feet - This vintage United States national flag features a 48-star pattern, which was official between 1912 and 1959. The flag is constructed from 100% nylon bunting, a material that became standard for flag production in the post-World War II era. The design consists of forty-eight white stars arranged in a symmetrical 6x8 grid, applied to the blue canton using zig-zag stitched appliqué. The red and white stripes are individually sewn. The hoist is reinforced with a heavy white canvas header containing two brass grommets for mounting. A small white fabric manufacturer label is sewn onto the header and reads 2x3 Ft.
