A Trio of Vintage Stanley Cast Iron Hand Planes including No. 4, No. 78, and No. 220 - This group consists of three vintage cast iron woodworking hand planes manufactured by Stanley in the United States. The collection includes three distinct models: a Keen Kutter No. 4 Smoothing Plane, a Stanley No. 78 Duplex Filletster and Rabbet Plane, and a Stanley No. 220 Block Plane. The Keen Kutter No. 4 is a Bailey-pattern smoothing plane featuring a wooden tote and front knob, a lateral adjustment lever, and a brass depth adjustment nut. The number 4 is cast into the body behind the front knob. The Stanley No. 78 plane features a black japanned cast iron body with stylized raised lettering on the side reading Stanley over No 78. It is designed with two cutter positions and an adjustable depth stop. The Stanley No. 220 block plane features a cast iron body with a wooden front knob. It is marked No. 220 at the toe and USA on the body. The rear adjustment knob is stamped with the words Stanley Made In USA.
