This Browning BPS is a pump-action shotgun chambered for 12-gauge shells with a 3-inch chamber, featuring a 28-inch ventilated-rib barrel configured for field use. The firearm is finished in a deep high-polish bluing on the receiver and barrel, paired with a high-gloss walnut stock and pump forend that display fine checkering on the grip surfaces. Designed with a bottom-loading and bottom-ejection system, the shotgun includes a top-mounted tang safety and a gold-plated trigger with the Browning Buckmark logo accented in gold on the trigger guard. Included with the firearm are three Browning Invector choke tube containers, which contain modified and improved modified chokes along with a third choke tube. Prominent markings on the barrel are transcribed as INVECTOR BPS SPECIAL STEEL 12GA-2 3/4 inch AND 3 inch FIELD MODEL-28 inch and the receiver bears the serial number 22839PZ152.
