Giles, 917 F.A.BN., with Images from France & Italy - A vintage string-bound photo album, likely dating from the mid-20th century, featuring a fabric cover with a beige and reddish-brown striped pattern and braided cord binding through metal grommets. The album contains numerous black and white photographs, many with decorative borders, depicting military life including soldiers, encampments, military vehicles such as jeeps and trucks, and naval vessels (one marked ”1043,” another ”T376” near what appears to be Mount Vesuvius in Italy). The album also includes some civilian scenes. An interior page bears handwritten text identifying the owner as ”SGT. RICHARD H. GILES, A.S.N. 32132123, BTRY.
