The olive-green cover features a ribbed texture, with the spine bearing gilded title fragments ”DIALECT, ” ”PROVERBS, ” ”WORD-LORE, ” and ”GENTLEMAN'S MAGAZINE, ” alongside library classification marks ”828” and ”Go.” Internal markings include ”NONCIRCULATING” stamps, a ”Free Public Library Summit N.
