Mid-19th Century Ambrotype or Tintype of Identified Frontiersman 'Mr. Z. Taylor' - A mid-19th century cased photographic portrait, likely an ambrotype or tintype, depicting a seated man identified by a handwritten label as 'MR Z. TAYLOR'. The subject, appearing to be Native American or frontier-aligned, is dressed in a hat and fringed buckskin-style attire, holding what appears to be a rifle or long stick. The monochromatic image is presented behind an ornate gilt brass mat, housed within a hinged case lined with embossed brown velvet.
