An Antique Verge Fusee Pocket Watch Movement and Dial - An antique verge fusée pocket watch movement, comprising a brass-toned mechanism and its associated white enamel dial. The circular dial features black Arabic numerals 1-12, minute dots, and decorative asterisks at the 3 and 12 o'clock positions. The movement exhibits ornate pierced and engraved scrollwork on the balance cock, exposes a visible fusée and chain mechanism, and includes a regulator scale. Engraved markings on the movement include the serial number ”12543” and an indistinct, possibly cursive, signature. The ensemble appears complete as a movement unit, but is disassembled from its outer case and missing hands.
