D. Edmonds, Liverpool, English Verge Fusee Pocket Watch Movement - An English verge fusee pocket watch movement by D. Edmonds of Liverpool. The assembly comprises a white enamel dial and a gilt brass full-plate mechanical movement. The dial features black Roman numerals (I-XII) with a minute track and star-shaped hour markers. The gilt brass movement is elaborately engraved with scrolling foliage and incorporates a finely pierced and engraved balance cock. Engraved on the movement's top plate are the details ”D. Edmonds” and ”LIVERPOOL”, along with a serial number ”449”, possibly followed by ”ST” or ”N”. Side views reveal a fusee chain and various gear trains. The entire assembly appears complete.
