An English Victorian Sterling Silver Fusee Pocket Watch by Daniel Gallegowski, Sunderland - An antique key-wind and key-set open-face pocket watch, dating to the 19th century. The sterling silver case features a circular engine-turned pattern on the back centered by an engraved cartouche, and a reeded middle section. Visible hallmarks are present on the pendant and inside covers. The multi-textured silvered dial showcases applied gilt (Possibley Gold) Roman numerals, a gilt floral wreath at the center, a sub-seconds dial at 6 o'clock, and a decorative gilt outer minute track and chapter ring. The brass-gilt fusee movement is signed ”Daniel Gallegowski SUNDERLAND” and bears the serial number ”Nº 3908,” with a ”Slow” / ”Fast” regulator. The same serial number ”3908” is handwritten on the inner case cover and stamped inside the main case.
