An English Arts & Crafts Sterling Silver and Sunstone Brooch by TB&S, Birmingham - This elongated, oval-shaped brooch is crafted from sterling silver, featuring an openwork, curvilinear frame. The design centers on a round, bezel-set cabochon stone, translucent with an orange-red hue and prominent internal glittering inclusions, indicative of sunstone. The reverse bears four distinct hallmarks: a maker's mark ”TB&S” within a rectangular punch, the lion passant for sterling silver, an anchor for the Birmingham Assay Office, and a lowercase 'g' date letter within a shield-shaped punch, dating the piece to circa 1931 or 1956.
