A Pair of American LaFrance Electric Lanterns, circa 1920s-1930s - A pair of American LaFrance Electric Lanterns, manufactured by American France Lantern Co., Elmira, N.Y. U.S.A. Each lantern is constructed of red-painted metal with robust metal handles featuring hanging hooks. A metal plaque on the top of each item is inscribed ”A FRANCE ELECTRIC LANTERN,” with patent dates of December 13, 1927, and January 1, 1929. Each lantern has a circular glass lens set within a metal bezel.
