Three Vintage Japanese Tinplate Fire Vehicles, including a Modern Toys FD No. 7 Fire Truck - A group of three vintage Japanese tinplate fire vehicles, predominantly red with yellow and black accents. The lot includes a battery-operated toy fire truck, marked ”F.D. No. 7” on the cab and ”ON OFF” on a switch, featuring detailed lithographed ladders, gauges, and a large golden tank. This item is attributed to Modern Toys, Japan. Also present is a smaller, streamlined toy fire chief car marked ”FIRE CHIEF” on its roof and sides, with ”F.D. No. 110” on its front quarter panel, and its underside clearly displays ”ELECTROMOBILE”, ”TRADE MARK”, ”JAPAN”, along with instructions ”to change bulb remove rim” and ”Right Left Steering knob.” The third item is a larger toy fire chief sedan, marked ”FIRE DEPT.” and ”CHIEF” on its sides, ”CAR No. 1,” and ”F.D. 3-4-5” on the rear, featuring lithographed drivers and passengers through the windows and an apparent winding or pull mechanism.
