Senator - A 1973 vintage American firefighter's helmet by Cairns & Brother, Inc., constructed from Tin featuring a ribbed dome and a wide brim, secured by a tan fabric chinstrap. The front prominently displays a red shield with white lettering that reads ”FIRE FIGHTER WELLSBORO 1 FIRE DEPT.” The rear brim is marked with large red numerals ”48.” Decorative brass-toned metal elements near the front crest depict an ”FD” emblem alongside ladders and an axe. The interior features a black fabric and leather liner, with a central metal button embossed ”CAIRNS & BROTHER, INC. CLIFTON, N.J.
