Four Late 19th-Century Bath Fire Department Semi-Centennial Commemorative Ribbons and Pin, 1887 - This lot comprises four late 19th-century commemorative silk or satin ribbons and a brass-toned metal pin, celebrating the Bath Fire Department's Semi-Centennial on August 5th, 1887, in Bath, N.Y. The ribbons are printed with various designs, prominently featuring ”1837” and ”1887” dates, specific fire companies such as ”Edwin Cook Hose,” ”Rescue H.&L. Co.,” and ”Citizens Hose Co.” (of Hammondsport, N.Y.). One ribbon details officers including Chief Wm. E. Howell, First Assistant R.B. Burgess, and Second Assistant R.J. Davison.
