Antique Utica Fire Alarm Telephone Company Wall Mounted Hand Crank Telephone - An antique wall-mounted telephone by the Utica Telephone Company, featuring a dark-stained wooden cabinet in a traditional early telephone style. It includes two silver-toned metal bells mounted on the front, an external crank handle on the right side, a black ebonite-style receiver hanging on the left, and a black horn-shaped mouthpiece mounted on a metal arm extending from the center. The silver-colored base of the mouthpiece is embossed with 'OHIO TEL. CO.' (Ohio Telephone Company) and decorative scrolling script. The cabinet has a shaped top molding and a small wooden writing shelf at the bottom. Internal mechanisms are visible when the front panel is open.
