A Collection of Vintage 1950s Walt Reach Courtland, Wyandotte, and Other Fire-Themed Tinplate Toys - A collection of four vintage fire-themed toy items, primarily from the 1950s, including examples by Walt Reach Courtland and Wyandotte. The group features a red, lithographed tinplate toy truck attributed to Walt Reach Courtland, marked ”Coastland” on the cab with a graphic of a dog, and ”FIRE PATROL NO. 2” along its yellow bed, which contains a miniature axe and a ladder. Also included is a red painted metal toy truck, identified as a ”WYANDOTTE FIRE DEPT. HOOK & LADDER CO. NO. 3” on its yellow bed, featuring a green plastic ladder. A smaller, red and yellow lithographed tinplate fire engine with intricate details is positioned behind the ”Coastland” truck. Completing the collection is an articulated toy fireman figure, constructed from painted tinplate or a similar material.
