Antique Cast Iron Fire Alarm Box Panel by The Utica F.A.Tel. Co. - An antique cast iron fire alarm box panel by The Utica F.A.Tel. Co., featuring a rounded top and an oxidized reddish-orange patina. The front displays a central raised relief of a bell with radiating lines, above prominently cast English text providing instructions: ”FOR FIRE”, ”BREAK THE GLASS”, ”OPEN THE DOOR”, ”PULL HOOK”, ”DOWN ONCE”, and ”AND LET GO”. Below these instructions, it is marked ”THE UTICA F.A.TEL. CO. UTICA. N.Y.”. Functional elements include a circular indentation and a keyhole-shaped opening on the left side, and another horizontal keyhole-like slot towards the bottom center.
