The internal mechanism features a black backplate fitted with two main rows of seven toggle-style switches, each with a spherical dark knob. Central components include two cylindrical fuses, one of which is legible showing ”10 AMPS” and ”250 VOLTS,” identified by numbers ”4” and ”5” below them. Prominent metal letters ”L” and ”R” are affixed to the panel in the central area, while a numbered metal strip below the lower row of switches displays ”9” through ”15.” The reverse of the panel reveals a complex arrangement of screw terminals interconnected by multi-colored electrical wires.
